Alice: Hello! I'm Alice Cooper bringing you the punk-rock dodgeball. Joining me is my staright hair challenged friend, Ray Toro.
Ray: And Darn proud of it. That's right. We're here this year bringing you the punks introducing teams one-by-one.
Alice: Shall we start the first match.
Ray: Sounds like a great idea.
Alice: Let's send it down to Maja Ivarsson, who is from The Sounds.
Ray: Sounding us with the intro.
Maja: Thank you. Well you better watch out cuz this team's the poison. It's team Venom
(My Chemical Romance's "Thank You for the Venom" plays as they come out.)
Ray: Yep. Team Venom. The most controversial team this year.
Mikey Way; the bassist of my band My Chemical Romance is the captain.
Frankie Iero; the lead singer and guitarist of Pencey Prep looks to make an impact, also on My Chemical Romance.
Mike Dirnt; the bassist of Green Day is in it.
now you have Matt Turk; Frontman of Bullet for my Valentine will put a bullet in your brain.
and finally, Kevin Fukai; Lead Guitarist of Trust Company.
Alice: Certainly an exciting team, but will they be as exciting as this team? Tell 'em all Maja.
Maja: Watch the fangs, cuz they are the Vampires.
(My Chemical Romance's "Vampires Will Never Hurt You" plays.)
Ray: Aaaah yes. The freshly baked Vampires. An expansion team out of British Columbia. Anyway,
Gerard Way; Lead singer of My Chemical Romance is the captain.
Bert McCracken; Lead Singer of The Used and long-time friend of Gerard Way's.
Geoff Rickly; Lead singer of Thursday produced My Chemical Romance's first album and will produce kills and catches.
Brandon Flowers; Lead singer and guitarist of The Killers will kill you on the d-ball court. Ha!
Brent Smith; Lead singer of Shinedown picks it up from the rear.
Alice: Don't we even get a pregame Maja?
Maja: Allright. Both teams are considered controversial. Here's why. Team Venom has two members of My Chemical Romance on their team, even though Frankie Iero is considered Pencey Prep. The league has accepted it. The Vampires are controversial because they are a team of lead singers. Can't wait to see how the season starts. Back to you Alice and Ray.
Alice: The moment we've all been waiting for. The referees are Andy hurley, the drummer of Fall Out Boy and Constantine Maroulis of Pray for the Soul of Betty.
Ray: And may I point out, it's brother vs. brother. The trash-talking awaits.
(match will start on next post. My intros are not good so bear with me as we roll along.)
